"All hands on deck!" is a nautical term that meant the ship was in peril. Every sailor was to get to the deck and join the effort to stay afloat. That is what is needed and thankfully what we have been seeing in dealing with the crisis our county faces from Hurricane Helene.
This underscores the value of churches working together as the Haywood Baptist Association. It is the Body of Christ on display as congregations have worked in their field individually and in the county collectively. We need each of you and are grateful for all of you. Scripture says that we need every member of the Body!
