No, I am not confused. Here we are approaching Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday and I am talking about thanksgiving. What could be more appropriate? I am not referring to Thanksgiving Day--our national holiday--but, thanksgiving today and every day! the Bible says, "In every thing give thanks..." (1 Thess.5:18). Thanksgiving is always in season--especially this season.
Are you thankful for salvation? Why don't you share that gratitude? This is the season for the offering for North American Missions. There are a lot of people who will be grateful if you care enough to give so they can hear the Gospel!
Are you thankful for family and being well fed? Our Broyhill Children's Home is collecting food, so that kids who need a family have one and that those children will be fed.
Are you thankful? The giving of thanks is more than words. It is giving our time, talent, and treasure in the service of the Lord.
