THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE

Life is sacred. Human beings--all of them--are made in the image of God. The location of a person does not change the value of the person. They may be in a grocery store, in an office, at a bank, in their house, or in the womb. They are still human beings. Their size does not change their dignity. They may be short or tall, skinny or fat--or less than a pound, but still, their life is precious. The age of a person does not alter their worth. They may be old, middle-aged, young adults, teens, children, babies--even unborn--but that has no bearing on the preciousness of their existence.

The Scriptures are clear. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. God knew Jeremiah before he was born and had already ordained him to be a prophet. John the Baptist leaped in his mother's womb in the presence of His Lord Jesus in early development inside the Virgin Mary.

The science is clear. Technology has given us a window into the womb and we can see that it is a baby!

Take a public stand for life. Make sure your church is involved in ministry to expectant mothers. Foster and adopt children that are homeless.

Please join us at Woodland Baptist Church, Sunday night, January 29 at 6 for a celebration of life!

Yours for LIfe,

Dennis Thurman, AMS
