YOU CAN TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS

You have heard the expression, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” Well, it may be more difficult to learn something new when you are old, but with God all things are possible! In fact, the best way to keep your brain sharp is to use it. Spiritually and intellectually, we ought to be growing each day. When a tree stops growing, you know what it is? A dead tree!


Yesterday, my wife and I arrived safely in Nashville, Tennessee for the Southern Baptist Convention that begins Tuesday morning. we are here early in order to be part of a training time for Associational Mission Strategists. Last night I attended three helpful sessions designed for those new to this role. I thank God for you making this possible by giving me the time away and the funding to attend. Pray that I will keep learning!
